Positive Lending has appointed Anna Bennett as marketing director.

Bennett, former marketing Director with development finance lender BLG, InterBay commercial and marketing manager with GMAC-RFC, joins the Bournemouth-based packager with responsibility for marketing strategy and brand development.

Chris Fairfax, Positive Lending marketing manager, said: “We knew Anna’s reputation from her marketing of InterBay and BLG. When we were searching for a marketing expert to help us deliver our business objectives, Anna’s profile was a perfect match.

“She is highly respected and brings with her a wealth of financial marketing experience. Hiring Anna is one of a number of strategic appointments for Positive.

“We have recruited 20 financial experts already this year, in fact we have more than doubled the Positive team over the last 12 months. Our company continues to go from strength to strength.”

And he added: “We employ people that care about what being at Positive is all about, promote the brand in a conscientious way and exceed expectations. They also need the ability to laugh when things get tough. With over 250 years’ combined experience in specialist lending we know it better than most. We are delighted to welcome Anna to the Positive family.”

Bennett said: “I’m excited to join the Positive team at this point in the company’s growth. Positive has an impressive track record and hugely ambitious plans for the future.

“As a marketer, central to my role is telling a company’s story and helping build their brand. Positive have a great story. They are one of the few packagers to survive the market crash and this was largely due to their commitment to providing outstanding service and value to their intermediary and network partners.

“Now they continuously strive to maintain their position as the UK’s largest packager, whether it be their progressive approach to compliance and being FCA regulated or their use of cutting edge technology, there are many new initiatives which will help the Positive team go from strength to strength. This is one story I am going to thoroughly enjoy telling!”
