Debt Help and Advice has appointed solicitor Jack Murphy.
Murphy, who joins from international law firm Hill Dickinson, specialises in Office for Fair Trading, Financial Conduct Authority and Ministry of Justice regulated issues.
David Ellwood, director of compliance at Debt Help and Advice, said: “We’re extremely pleased to have Jack on board. He has a great deal of legal insight and will be an asset to us as we work to resolve customer debt issues.
“We are constantly looking for new ways to enhance the service we are able to offer our customers, and Jack’s appointment will allow us to appropriately advise our customers on the full range of options available to them following our investigations of their debts.”
Debt Help and Advice also enlisted the guidance of a barrister and a senior solicitor who both specialise in consumer protection, as well as a management consultant to provide training and additional guidance to staff.
Murphy said: “I’m very much looking forward to working with Debt Help & Advice, and getting involved at this exciting time for the company.
“I will be using my expertise to support training programmes for staff and ensure we are delivering the very best customer service, with a real understanding of client needs.”
