Specialist Financial Services – which offers second charge mortgages, specialist commercial mortgages and bridging finance – has been granted full FCA consumer credit permissions.

The packager is now fully prepared ahead of regulation hitting the market in March 2016.

Tony Sutton, managing director of Specialist Financial Services, said: “This will now allow us to significantly move our business plans forward and continue to improve the overall proposition we provide to our business introducers and partners.

“We are one of a select number of brokers to have received our full permissions and we now look forward to the challenges ahead within the second charge mortgage market from March 2016.”

“I have been in contact with senior management within our lending partners and have been delighted with the dozens of messages of support, congratulations and good wishes we have received.”

Lynn Kemp of Cambridge & Counties Bank said “congratulations on achieving full FCA permissions” and Alan Cleary, Precise Mortgages managing director added “well done tony and the team”.

Richard Deacon, sales & marketing director at Masthaven bridging Finance, said: “I have worked with Tony and his team for a number of years now and they have always come across as a very thorough and diligent team doing the right thing for the right clients.

“This great news is very much an endorsement of that and I really look forward to working closely with them for many more years to come. Well done!”
